The LivNordic Spa pursues holistic wellbeing by drawing on the rich resource that Nordic culture, traditional and contemporary, has to offer. “Liv” is a Nordic name deriving from the “Veddas”, scriptures from the Norse mythology. Liv was one of two that survived “Ragnarök” and means “life” and “protection”. LivNordic encourages the guests to embrace the strength of the name and live Nordic for an hour or more in the LivNordic spa and fitness. Simply coming a little closer to Living Nordic.

Resense Spa S.A., is a Joint Venture between Raison d’Etre and Kempinski Hotels. This collaboration brings together Kempinski’s unbeatable hotel operations knowledge and Raison d’Etre’s long-standing reputation for creating bespoke spas. The partnership aims to successfully develop and operate two exciting spa brands: Kempinski The Spa and Resense Spa. The Kempinski The Spa concept is based on the seasons and how these affect our being. We each have summer, winter, spring and autumn in us and just as in Chinese medicine, Ayurveda and many other sciences, we are the seasons as we develop and grow and we should live in inner and outer balance with our inner season.

The Resense Spa is the renaissance of the classical European spa. It is a fusion of modern and traditional design, art, music, therapies and bathing. A European Spa Revival. The Resense Spa concept has distanced itself from a minimalist approach by fusing modern and traditional design, arts, therapies and ancient European bathing rituals, using water as the common denominator – a source for cleansing the body and the mind. It is a feast of color, art, music and beauty. It reinvents the drama and grandeur of European baroque. Resense takes the experience from pampering to healing. It is the European Spa.

The Jiva Concept was tailor made for the five star hotel brand Taj Hotels Resorts & Places. We travelled India for many months to truly understand the Indian spa and wellness tradition, placed our staff in Mumbai for 2 years and created an amazing pure Indian and Ayurvedic spa concept together with Taj Spa division, which we helped to build and develop. At that time, it was bold and different, as we kept it Indian, and waived bringing in more westernized treatments, which was and is very popular to include in most spa concepts. In each location there is an Ayurvedic doctor, organic Indian products and Jivas own Indian treatments.

The Auriga Spa brand was created by our Training Director Isabella dos Santos when she went deep into research how we are affected by the moon cycles. Isabella was inspired by full moon rituals in Mexico, and she brought the ideas home and we started to develop the concept together with the West Paces Hotels team.Capella, the brightest star in the Auriga star constellation, lent inspiration to create a concept that resonates with the laws of our universe. There is great complexity in the movements of the heavens but, far from chaotic, the dance if beautifully choreographed – everything moves in cycles. By tapping into these cycles, by flowing with the changes, equilibrium of body, mind and spirit will be achieved.
